The standard ecoTEC Pro
The star ecoTEC Plus
The main ecoTEC Exclusive (specifically for larger homes with more demand for hot water). Combination boilers (or combi) are available in all ranges (Pro, Plus and Exclusive), and the Plus range includes system and open vent boilers.
Combi boilers are the most common types in the UK, especially in Richmond and Twickenham. They save space and don’t require a hot water cylinder or storage tank. You can select from any of the 3 available ranges.
System boilers provide central heating and hot water through a storage cylinder, which is kept in an airing cabinet. The boiler does not require a water tank. You can get the ecoTEC Plus in various outputs going from 12kW to 37kW.

In general, though, 24kW and 27kW combi boilers are good for flats and terraced buildings with at least one bathroom and 10 radiators. For bigger homes with up to 3 – 4 bedrooms, you need a boiler with at least a 28Kw output. A home with 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms may only require a boiler system ranging from 12kW to 15kW.
